Dr Bala is a globally trained surgeon specialising in complex Shoulder Elbow and Hand surgery. After graduating from Christian Medical College Vellore India, his journey in orthopaedics started in 2005.

Pradeep went on to complete his specialist orthopaedic training at MP Shah Medical College, Saurashtra University, Gujarat, India. He furthered his orthopaedic education with an Arthroscopy fellowship at Ortho One Orthopaedic Speciality Centre, Coimbatore India which is an ISAKOS accredited centre. 

He practised as an independent consultant in South India for a period of 5 years following which he visited Australia for higher training. He spent time training as an Australian Orthopaedic Association accredited Sports Surgery and Arthroplasty Fellow and as a Shoulder Elbow, Hand and Microsurgery Fellow in international centres of excellence such as Sportsmed SA, Lyell Mc Ewin and Modbury Hospitals, Adelaide Australia. 

His mentors have passed on valuable techniques gained from the Kleinert Hand Institute Kentucky USA, Boston Shoulder Institute and Codman Shoulder Society Massachusetts USA and Centre Orthopedique Santy Lyon France. Dr Bala was honoured with the award for the best case presentation at the AO Trauma Wrist and Hand Mastercourse MENA region in 2021 in Dubai. Dr Bala has been involved with research, postgraduate training and administration for over a decade and is an academically acknowledged former Assistant Professor at a Government Medical College in Tamilnadu, India.He was an invited international faculty for hand and upper limb at state conferences in India in 2024.

Dr Bala currently consults and operates in Reem Hospital AbuDhabi, UAE as a Shoulder Elbow and Hand Surgeon.
