Meet Dr Pradeep Bala
Dr Bala is a globally trained surgeon specialising in complex Shoulder Elbow and Hand surgery. After graduating from Christian Medical College Vellore India, his journey in orthopaedics started in 2005.
Pradeep went on to complete his specialist orthopaedic training at MP Shah Medical College, Saurashtra University, Gujarat, India. He furthered his orthopaedic education with an Arthroscopy fellowship at Ortho One Orthopaedic Speciality Centre, Coimbatore India which is an ISAKOS accredited centre.
He practised as an independent consultant in South India for a period of 5 years following which he visited Australia for higher training. He spent time training as an Australian Orthopaedic Association accredited Sports Surgery and Arthroplasty Fellow and as a Shoulder Elbow, Hand and Microsurgery Fellow in international centres of excellence such as Sportsmed SA, Lyell Mc Ewin and Modbury Hospitals, Adelaide Australia.
His mentors have passed on valuable techniques gained from the Kleinert Hand Institute Kentucky USA, Boston Shoulder Institute and Codman Shoulder Society Massachusetts USA and Centre Orthopedique Santy Lyon France. Dr Bala was honoured with the award for the best case presentation at the AO Trauma Wrist and Hand Mastercourse MENA region in 2021 in Dubai. Dr Bala has been involved with research, postgraduate training and administration for over a decade and is an academically acknowledged former Assistant Professor at a Government Medical College in Tamilnadu, India.He was an invited international faculty for hand and upper limb at state conferences in India in 2024.

I’ve been to two different doctors and they all told me to “wait it out” or try physical therapy which was useless. Dr Pradeep was the first doctor to take me seriously and effectively removed the cyst with minimal after-effects by surgery. Ram Adhikari29 April 2024I would like to share my experience here about Dr. Pradeep Balasubramanian. I got pain in my right knee & I came to alwahda medical centre to meet one of the orthopedics and suddenly i meet dr pradeep, i present my right knee pain swelling and weakness i have injury in my right knee and was not able to moving he diagnosed my knee injury"he request a test. ACL ligement is tear dr. pradeep explained me verywell with a guidance that i need a surgery to reconstruction my ACl ligement. Moving forward i decided to make surgery without any doubt. I trusted dr pradeep very well. And the operation was successful i am glad and thankful🙏 right now im in the healing process he adviced with physiotherapy and positive mind that my knee will go back to normal functions. randy carino11 March 2024I would like to thank Dr. Pradeep Balasubramanian for being kind and he is a good person. It was hard for me to walk because my right knee is pain and too much weak. Im from fujairah then I came here in Abu Dhabi to Search hospital to examine my knee. I go to al Wahda medical center and i meet Dr. Pradeep Balasubramanian and he check my right knee. He suggest x-Ray after MRI scan he found that medial miniscus and ACL insufficient with bakers cyst. He suggest to make an operation but first i tell to my wife then we decided to make surgery. I trusted Dr. Pradeep for my surgery and the operation was successfull i am glad and thankfull🙏 now im in the healing process he adviced physiotherapy and he tell me that my right knee will be ok.
